We all know what the word “detour” means. Or if you haven’t yet, well, as answers.com defines it, detour is a deviation from a direct course of action. Or, frequently seen by motorist, detour is a roundabout way or course, especially a road used temporarily instead of a main route.
In our life, we may not know if we are led to a detour. Just like the Israelites, for 40 years they were circling around the desert after they left Egypt. For those years, some have died, some alive.
We may not know what is going on in our lives. But in the future, as we reflect back what we had, we may say that it was a learning process for us.
The detour may be painful, tiring, weakening, disheartening, discouraging; but looking at the bright side of it, there is hope, to be better, and that all things happened for some reasons and for the best on its perfect time.
