I came back from a trip Tuesday early morning. I had an overnight bus trip from Davao City to here in my city. Saturday morning i left here for Davao City with my sister to attend a friend’s wedding. Excitement was brewing on my system as i expected that it won’t just be an ordinary wedding day that Sunday, it also is a reunion of friends. My sis and i took a bus trip which took 7 hours. It’s my first time to arrive on my destination not tired for having such a long bus trip. As usual, i brought along a digicam. Taking photos to whatever scenes there would be.

When we arrived at Davao City, we dropped at SM Mall to eat dinner, because i was hungry already. We skipped lunch by the way, that’s why we were so eager to dine at the moment we touched our feet at Davao City. We had a sumptuous dinner anyway. Chicken, soup, and lots of rice. After our dinner, we waited for our friends to catch us up at the mall. Not knowing that they also hadn’t taken their dinner…so, we just hang along with our friends taking their dinner. That was how hungry my sis and i were. We didn’t even bother waiting for our friends to come so that we could have dinner together. We also met some of our friends who came along with us.

After the meeting, we decided to surprise two of our friends who also surprised us by coming home to the Philippines; they were from Vancouver. So we did went and went to their home. Surprised and happy to meet them, we stayed their until midnight, exchanging stories and laughter. Fun day!

Then came Sunday morning…i almost skipped to attend a church service because i woke up late. Yet i caught up on the service. After the service, everyone was already busy preparing for our friend’s wedding at 3-pm. We had a hurried lunch at KFC and the ladies i was with that time was also hurrying to the beauty parlor where they have to get their self done for the occasion.

At 3-pm we were there at the hotel already in-time for the wedding. Indeed, it was a very, very fun day…a joyful day for all of us friends. We just witnessed a beautiful wedding ceremony. It made me feel envious too. It had a beautiful reception afterward too. I had a great time bonding with my friends,with some friends whom i haven’t seen for a long time. It was a blessed day for all of us. I can’t wait for another occasion like this to happen just for us to get-together. Hoping to get in-touch with them every now and then.
